The National Museum of Natural History employs over 350 people whose job titles range from Educator to Research Entomologist. The jobs are a mix of federal and Smithsonian trust-funded positions, permanent and temporary, full-time and part-time. The Smithsonian operates a free hourly shuttle bus service from the National Museum of Natural History on the National Mall to the Museum Support Center. The shuttle runs from 8:00 AM to 6:15 PM, and departs from the Mall entrance of the museum on Madison Drive on the hour.
