It sounds like your remote start coupled with dirt terminals is causing issues. I would start with looking for a "kill" switch under your dash somewhere. there are common to keep mechanics from losing fingers. disconnect all batter cables, clean posts, clean terminals, make SURE you do the cross over cable too.
