In my playthroughs, I try to save a group of them & have them wander around my base performing basic tasks, like putting all the corpses in a pile. They can be a bit buggy though. If left off screen for a while, a npc can decimate a large amount of zombies. The tag tends to happen when the mod spawns a whole bunch of survivors and it accumulates over time in a single area.
