My son was driving it and hit a hole and got stuck and that's when it started. It sounds like a belt needs replaced. Note the pto won't engage at all. I'm curious if anyone else had any input before I dive into it.For some the PTO lever was very hard to disengage and engage. I had to really muscle it either way. Finally I learned if I sprayed WD40 or lithium grease on the junction of the linkage (from behind the tractor, on left side) it would move in to and out of engagement much easier.
