I have found Four numbers. 3970010 along with "hecho en mexico" on the back drivers side. 254 on the back passenger side. 010 on the drivers side in front of the oil filter. and the engine code is "MK01800." The 3970010 engine block casting number does not mean 350. It could be a 327, 307 or 350, 2 or 4 bolt main from 1968 thru 1978. All it can tell you for sure is that the block is a 4 inch bore. However, if you are a betting man, you would most likely win guessing 350 because it is the most common casting number for a 350.
