My UV700 has the soft roll won’t spin problem. For whatever reason, the spindle won’t engage with the roller. The spindle spins when the brush roll spins, so there’s no pulley problem. Shark just says replace the whole floor nozzle unit. I don’t like that they don’t or won’t provide any information about why the engagement is failing. I have a nv830.
