Mine were not tightend to spec. Tech put on a scanner, with in 1 hour had the issue solved and tightend the eyelets to the ground bolt. 1. Reaction score. 0. Location. United States of America. My dad and I replaced a faulty clock springing a 2011 ram 1500 slt 5.7, after putting everything back together, the truck wouldn't start and the gear indicator on the dash says the truck is in reverse. I tried the shifter override and it didnt help.Release the shift lever, remove foot from brake, re-apply the brake and it still won't shift out of park. Each time it's happened I was finally able to get it to shift but this isn't my idea of a dependable vehicle.
