Weapons and their mods definitely need more balance passes. For instance, staff is undeniably the king at the moment. Not only can it clear faster, it can also loop nigh infinitely if not for the game crashing. The longest I've done with it is 6 full loops ending on the 7th at anville, game just froze and crashed.
